Hallmark Day
Well, we're not really people who make V-day a big deal. In fact, B's been referring to as "Hallmark Day" for the last week or so.
Imagine my surprise when I walked into work and saw a lovely vase of white and maroon carnations on my desk. What a sweetie!
Then I got sick - I've been home with a nasty stomach flu since 2. blech!

Hallmark Day! I love it!
Will surprised me with red and white tulips at work, then took me out to dinner in Key West the following night. The flowers have long faded, but the memory of seeing them on my desk will live on. Who needs piles of presents on Feb. 14? A few well-chosen posies and a sweet card do the job nicely.

And once again, we resume waiting to see just how long it takes for KK to post again... one month and counting!
Wow. I didn't know this was YOU! The SCA gave you away. Hope all is better, sounds like we all succombed to the big bad virus right after V-day.
R tried so hard this year. He's never been romantic and after 21 years, it's ok. At this point, if he started being romantic, I'd think something was up. But he did give me a lot of c.d.'s because he heard me saying that I was going to go buy some an opera c.d. Well, he got classical - Mozart etc., stuff that I actually already have. But I didn't say a word. It's the effort and thought that count. He got a red chrome coffee pot. Now how unromantic am I? (He loved it.)

(get the hint?!?)
I've been e-mailing her at work. She responds there.
But that also could be because she fully supports our plot to move north. ;)
